LUNACY is a band creating its own genre: cyber death metal – modern death metal with a heavy dose of electronics, trance-like structures and cold, mechanical sounds.
Thematically, the music deals with transhumanism, body horror and the technologization of the body – in the spirit of Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Cronenberg and “I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream.” It is music about blurring the boundaries of humanity, and about a future in which man merges with technology.
Death metal in its intensity and brutality, but run through a filter of cybernetics and electronics – the weight of guitars meets glitch, industrial rhythms and cybernetic sounds.
